Grapevine time

Had 2 awesome remixes of Marvin Gaye’s classic hit, Heard It Through the Grapevine hanging round for a bit. Both are damn awesome. Thought i’d do a search for some other versions on SoundCloud and found a couple of worthy additions to the post.
First up a cool dubstep remix from Ashes who has turned out a wicked version that’ll be getting some spins from me for sho!
Following that, Sydney funkster Jon Ohms has done a tasty re-edit of the Creedence Clearwater Revival version of this seminal tune. I’ve had this for a minute now and have thrashed it in many a set.
The 2 I found today on the ‘Cloud are both versions which I quite liked. First up we have Motown Pirates who i’m guessing are a cover band or something – not sure, but their version is clean and sweet, the singer sure does have a great voice.
Last and possibly least ๐Ÿ™‚ we have a version from The Slits. Don’t have much info on these guys and haven’t’ bothered to look (feel free to school me up in comment form) but their version is cool and different, I like it anyways.
Bam, I think that’s enough from me – listen to the musics, and have a good weekend.
