Perth Local Roundup 004

So been absent for awhile had some holidays, being a busy beaver & whatnot so ive got a heap of goodies for you all including all this great local stuff.

First up we have the new one from JS aptly titled ‘Bass Cafe’ reminiscent of the beach levels from your favourite 16bit video games mixed with a future bass reggae vibe this track brings back memories of those happy youthful days now lost to the grown up in you. Fun, not serious chill out for a few minutes and if you can put an umbrella and some fruit in your drink.

JS – BASS CAFE (Original Mix)

Slumberjack are what happens when you get two young like minded producers working together, creating some great music. Both have won the last 2 Limelite DJ comps respectively and have been in the studio since hooking up together making these great tracks. Already hailed in the most recent New Breed feature by In The Mix alongside another Perth young gun Axen Slumberjack are defiently ones to watch out for in 2013.

SiiLO is the solo project of Simon Willsher one half of recent moombahton outfit Perreo Perreo and before that the electro duo OHHNO! With SiiLO Simon’s been producing some very polished future bass / trap tracks and after hearing these two tracks im very keen to see what else he has in store for us.

Austy has given us a nice little mash of Flume’s bigone ‘Holdin’ On’ with a bit of Missy goodness to add that extra party spice to your sets.

Missy Elliot x Flume – Holdin’ It (Austy Bootleg)

CasueL is back with another one, this time a big belting trap banger. Me being the dirty perv I am love the spoken word samples used in this and have seen this track destroy a dancefloor more then once.

CasueL – Hypnotic Fantasy (Explicit)

Fendi having a go at the huge Delta Heavy track ‘Empire’ giving it a dnb spin and as he puts it “I have tried to keep the tune in the vein of how I believe they would remix it, and giving it my own spin.” I think he’s accomplished what he set out to do.

Delta Heavy – Empire (Fendi 174 Mix)

Here’s the first single from the amazing songstress Sarah Pellicano, the beat was produced by local lords Creed Birch and Rregula. I could happily listen to this lady sing all day and if you agree with me be sure to go to her Triple J Unearthed page and rate this track. Beautiful stuff.

Sarah Pellicano – Did You Think

This one is on that 110 breaks biz from the homies Bezwun & DNGRFLD and is the first track DNGRFLD has gotten signed, from what he’s shown me recently there should be many more to come. Go grab a copy from Beatport if your feeling them basslines.

Bezwun & DNGRFLD – Gettin Kinda Hectic

I dont know a great amount about Chu. having only discovered him recently but after listening to this album he definitely needs more plays on these tracks. Great future bass vibes all through this release. Head to his Bandcamp for the name your price DL on the whole album.

Chu. – Messychops#2

Next up the man Kit Pop with his Juke / Footwork take on Ciara’s ‘I’m Out’ this is one of the better remixes i’ve heard of this track. Go grab it below.

Ciara Ft. Nicki Minaj – I’m Out (Kit Pop Remix)

Ryan Exley is back again this time with a big EDM banger which tips its hat to the likes of Porter Robinson & Knife Party, a perfect tune for those big room clubs.

Ryan Enzed & Alex Mind (Ft. Sue Cho) – Let It Go (Ryan Exley Remix)

Another one from Bezwun smashing up Noisia’s ‘Alpha Centauri’ and ‘Split the Atom’ with a bit of X on top. Big, banging and with that hip hop sample this one goes hard.

Noisia – Alpha Centauri – (Bezwun Mashleg)

Last one from the Ptown area this is a big dnb remix of TC’s anthem ‘Tap Ho’ from illu one half of the Riot Class boys smashing clubs and sound systems alike all over Perth. Be sure to check out their remix of ‘New Slaves’ while your at it as well.

TC – Tap Ho (illu Remix)

Next up we have a couple of country boys doing  big things on the production tip first up is Extract from Geraldton bringing some rolling glitched out goodness.

Extrakt – Sound Waves

Last one we have Adam Hankinson from Karratha, part of the crew throwing the some of the biggest parties the town has seen he’s also a competent producer pumping out some big room EDM heres one of his recent bootlegs to give you a taste of what he brings.

Blackout Voices ( Adam Hankinson Dutched Up Mash )
